Recovered from the wreck of the Lazarus expedition, this unknown artefact may have been used for purely decorative purposes or, alternatively, as a practical object like a vase for dry flowers. It features in ‘The Portrait of a Craftsman’, which can be viewed in the portraits section of the archive.
